Privacy Policy

1. Who is responsible for the data

VTrack is the controller of the personal data collected on this website. For any privacy matter, including exercising your rights, write to the email address shown on this page.

2. What we collect

• Waitlist: name, email, tracker model, number of vehicles, page language and the date you gave consent.
• Contact request (custom projects): name, email, WhatsApp (optional), the message you wrote and the page language.
• Bot check: when you submit a form, Cloudflare Turnstile analyses technical browser and connection data, such as your IP address, to confirm you are not a bot. We do not store that data.
• Visit statistics: we use Umami, which uses no cookies and does not identify visitors. It records aggregate data, such as the page visited, referring site, country, device type and browser, and actions on the site, such as submitting a form. Name, email, WhatsApp and message are never sent to Umami.
• Technical logs: Cloudflare, which hosts the site, processes your IP address and request data to serve the pages and protect the site from attacks.

3. Why we use it and on what legal basis

• Waitlist: to tell you about the launch, offer early access and learn which trackers to support first. Legal basis: your consent (art. 7, I), which you can withdraw at any time.
• Contact request: to reply to your message and, where relevant, send a proposal. Legal basis: steps prior to a contract, at your request (art. 7, V).
• Bot check, security and visit statistics: to protect the site from abuse and understand how it is used, so we can improve it. Legal basis: legitimate interest (art. 7, IX), always with minimal data and, for statistics, without identifying anyone.

We do not use your data for advertising and we do not sell it.

4. Who we share it with

Data is handled only by providers that run the site on our behalf (processors):

• Cloudflare, Inc.: site hosting, the forms database and the bot check (Turnstile).
• Umami Software, Inc.: visit statistics, with no cookies and no personal data from the forms.

5. International transfer

These providers store and process data on servers outside Brazil, including in the United States. The transfer follows art. 33 of the LGPD, based on the contractual data protection safeguards they offer.

6. Cookies

This site uses no advertising or analytics cookies, which is why there is no cookie banner. The bot check may use browser features that are strictly necessary for it to work.

7. How long we keep it

Waitlist and contact request data is kept until you ask to leave the list or to have it deleted. Visit statistics are aggregate and identify no one.

8. Your rights

Under the LGPD (art. 18), you may request at any time:

• confirmation that we process your data, and access to it;
• correction of incomplete, inaccurate or outdated data;
• anonymisation, blocking or deletion of unnecessary data or data processed unlawfully;
• data portability;
• deletion of data processed on the basis of your consent, and withdrawal of that consent;
• information about who we share your data with.

9. How to exercise your rights

Send your request to the email address shown on this page, from the address you registered with. We reply within 15 days. If you are not satisfied, you can also complain to Brazil's National Data Protection Authority (ANPD).

10. Security

The site only works over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and access to the forms database is restricted. No system is fully immune to incidents. If an incident may cause you significant risk or harm, we will tell you and notify the ANPD, as the law requires.

11. Minors

This site and its forms are not intended for people under 18.

12. Changes

We may update this policy. The date of the last update appears at the top of the page. If a change affects how we use data you have already sent, we will tell you by email.
